I love the focus on the tail.
Funny, I was dreaming about a scribe with feathers in his cap, but I didn't realise until seeing this pic that the lyrebirds tail carried THE very feathers. :lol:

I remembered knowing about this bird from when I was about 12. I used to collect stamps, and we had friends from Oz stationed at the same base in Alaska. They gave me some mail from home,and the stamps featured the kookaburra and the lyrebird. God..that was a long time ago......
